My Fault 2 Update: Amazon prime made an official announcement upon the release of Your Fault, sequel of My Fault on July 26 2023. With no changes in the cast, Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara continue as Noah and Nicholas Leister.
Fans are waiting to watch this romantic drama that is being released on December 27 2024. An adult rated film capturing the depth of love, intimacy, Family bonds and action, this film provided an escape for rom-com enthusiasts or for those who enjoy light-hearted films.
Directed by Domingo Gonzalez the first part was a great success, which also increased the expectations for the upcoming sequel.
The film is based on a Wattpad story of the same name written by Mercedes Ron. The story revolves around two step siblings Noah and Nicholas. Their single parents get married leading to the introduction of the youngsters. Noah and Nick had to fight against the societal stigma for their love.
What you need to know about the first part?
Noah’s mother marries a wealthy businessman who happens to be Nicholas’s father. She moves to his mansion and their rivalry begins. Nicholas being a successful lawyer, Noah’s family keep pestering her to be inspired by Nicholas. Her family’s attention towards Nick annoys Noah which develops a sense of hatred towards him. On the other hand Nick keeps annoying Noah himself making them rivals.
Nick’s attractive looks and Noah’s beauty steals each other’s heart at the same time. They gradually develop a crush but they try to brush it off. However Noah’s abusive past, toxic exes did not let her at peace. On the other hand Nick’s intimate relationships with his girlfriends and his ego tests her patience, Intending to take revenge Noah gets close with men in a part. An aggravated Nick pulls her away and confesses his love to her. She too confesses her love for him but will eventually decide to stay away because of their family.

Meanwhile Noah makes some enemies with Nick’s car race rivals who later in the film joins hands with her abusive father to kidnap her. They demand her family for a ransom in return for Noah but Nick manages to save her and to get her kidnappers arrested. With chasing, action and fight sequences the scenes kept its audiences involved. The film ends with Noah and Nick’s parents disagreeing with their relationship as they are step-brother and step-sister.
What is in the next part?
The second part Culpa Tuya or Your Fault continues narrating Noah and Nick’s struggle to keep their relationship alive. Despite their parents’ advice the young couples try to avoid social stigma and to be together. On the other hand people from their past attempt to break them off. Nick’s biological mother will be a major part of this film, while giving more depth to the secondary characters too. It also includes how Nick and Noah’s maturity, their career and nature affect their relationship.
The second part as a whole talks about Nick and Noah’s efforts and persistence to not break off their relationship and their struggle and fight against those who try to break it off.
Michael and Luca are two new members of the cast, respectively played by Javier Morgade and Felipe Londono. Apart from them Martha Hazas, Ivan Sanchez, Victor Varona, Eva Ruiz, Goya Toledo, Gabriela Andrada and Jose Palacios are reprising their roles.

Why watch this film?
The engaging story line and the emphasis on love and family is a core feature of the film. This film can easily entertain those who like to read Wattpad and other romantic novels. This film also loosens the air around the concept of dating step-siblings which is a new age thought. Teenagers and other fans appreciate this film for having open minded and new concepts.
Opinion on My Fault: London
The female lead of the film, Nichole Wallace has commented about this sequel on how this film had a significance for cars, and on how Nicholas and Noah get more mature and try to understand their needs from their relationship. She also talked about how the UK version of this film starring Asha Banks as Noah and Matthew Broome as Nick is cool and how much she likes Asha playing her role.

Summing up My Fault is an A rated film, enjoyed by young adults and adults that captures the emotions of adolescents’ innocent love and the societal influence on it. The second part 2 is expected to finish the undone businesses of the first part. Ending the first film with an interesting cliffhanger, fans are excited to see how the film goes further.
