Sharang Shakti, a security robotics startup founded by graduates of IIT Delhi, has secured ₹5 crore in pre-seed funding to accelerate the development of its aerial security products. This funding round was led by prominent venture capital firms AUM Ventures and Venture Highway, along with renowned angel investors such as Appreciate Capital and The JK Organisation.

The funds will be strategically allocated toward manpower expansion and the development of advanced aerial surveillance products. The team, consisting of talented IIT graduates, aims to enhance its capabilities in creating state-of-the-art unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), commonly referred to as surveillance drones. These innovative drones serve as mini radars, capable of detecting aerial threats, including adversarial drones, and successfully neutralizing them.
