HomeLane: MS Dhoni-Backed Startup’s FY22 Loss Surges 1.5X To INR 153 Cr

HomeLane, a MS Dhoni backed startup that provides home interior services, experienced a significant increase in its net loss in the financial year 2021-22 compared to the previous year. The net loss went up by 1.49 times, from INR 102.38 Cr in FY21 to INR 153.05 Cr in FY22.

This was due to an increase in expenses that came along with the growth in its business. However, the company’s operating revenue grew by 1.55 times to INR 426.13 Cr from INR 275.69 Cr in the previous year.

HomeLane earned INR 425.55 Cr from the sale of services such as interior designing and home renovation. Its total income also increased to INR 431.25 Cr from INR.
